Dr. Linda Teoh studied medicine at University of Malaya, and later completed her postgraduate training in Ophthalmology at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. She had her training in glaucoma at the New York Eye And Ear Infirmary, New York. She was commissioned as a captain and became a medical officer in the Malaysian Ministry of Defence.
Dr. Linda Teoh specializes in managing all types of Glaucoma (an eye condition that can lead to irreversible blindness), with medical treatment, laser treatment or surgery as the case requires. In addition, she is experience with all types of cataract operations.
Dr. Linda is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, Academy of Medicine of Malaysian and the Malaysian Society of Ophthalmology. She has presented papers in many international and local conferences. Also, she was awarded the Darjah Johan Negeri by the Governer of Penang in 2008 and Darjah Setia Pangkuan Negeri by Yang di-Pertua Negeri of Penang, TYT Tun Dato’ Seri Utama (Dr.) Haji Abdul Rahman bin Haji Abbas in 2016 for her contribution to medicine.
