A graduate of International Medical University (IMU) in 2009, Dr. Paveena trained in Penang General Hospital before she joined THONEH in 2009 as a trainee ophthalmologist. After obtaining her Fellowship of the Royal Colleges of Surgeons (FRCS) Ophthalmology in Edinburgh in 2014. Dr. Paveena pursued sub-speciality training in orbit and oculoplasty at Aravind Eye Hospital, Madurai, India. She currently manages patients with lid abnormalities, lacrimal diseases, thyroid eye diseases as well as orbital tumors. She takes pride in her commitment towards patient care and surgical excellence. She works closely with the Ocularist about ocular prosthetic services. Besides oculoplasty, Dr. Paveena performs cataract and pterygium surgeries.
