Dr Thanendthire Sangapillai graduated from AIMST University with a Bachelors of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS). Subsequently, she pursued her post-graduate studies in General Ophthalmology and was awarded with a Fellowship from the Royal College of Ophthalmologists ( FRCOphth), London. Passionate in treating glaucoma and cataract, Dr. Thanen further attained a Fellowship in Glaucoma from the prestigious Singapore National Eye Centre (SNEC). She is a member of the Malaysian Society of Ophthalmology (MSO), Malaysian Glaucoma Society (MGS) , Asia Pacific Glaucoma Society (APGS) and World Glaucoma Association (WGA) . Dr. Thanen strongly advocates early detection and a patient-centric management approach to retard disease progression in Glaucoma and prevent vision loss for her patients.
